Kidplayhouse Productions - for the kid in all of us!

Hello  Kidplayhouse friends,
A year has passed so quickly. In that time, we have relocated to lovely Sackville, NB. where Elizabeth is attending Mount Allison University. And so we find ourselves with an opportunity to continue providing programs here in our new environment. Once again, we open our doors to children, youth and adults to come 'play' with us.

We begin with......

Rhythm Orchestra
Drumming and Musical Explorations for youth in grades 6 thru 8

Wednesday evenings: 6:00-7:15pm
September 21 – November 30, 2016 (10 weeks, no class Sept 28)
Facilitated by Glenn Copeland
Registration deadline is September 20 at noon.

Using hand drums and other percussion instruments, students will explore the wonderful world of rhythm and tonality. We will collaborate to create rhythmical, multi-layered soundscapes. This will include original works using vocal elements, and spoken word – sometimes known as rap!

No experience needed – just a love of rhythm, a willingness to learn new things, and a desire to have fun!

Each class is limited to ten students.

Note: Glenn can provide a limited number of drums if a student does not have a percussion instruments of their own.
